Keep on doing gods work and i am praying for you while you are doing it. I am trying to start my own breast cancer foundation in jamaica but i dont know where to start my reason for starting this foundation is that i lost someone very close to my heart and there was nothing i could do i just watch the cancer eat her out to nothing i try everything the doctors tell me and it did not work for her so i want to start my own foundation that other people wont have to suffer like she did. Hello,
Thank you for your informative website. I'm not sure if you can help me or not but I'm hoping you can at least point me in the right direction.
I have sung in a choir before and provided on mic background singing. I've been told my voice tends to be a mezzo-soprano but am unsure what that means. I'm interested in vocal lessons but checking in the phone book doesn't provide a variety of teachers to choose from.
How do I find the "right" vocal teacher? Word of mouth hasn't seemed to help too much. Cost is a concern.

I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am for Bethel AME and the choir. I use to sing in the chior with my mother growing up in Chicago. When my mother died of breast cancer five years ago, I was lost and didn't sing anymore. I truely belive that God is Good and he led me to praise and worship with Bethel. I have just started directing our 8 am choir this past year. I have a high school music education, and a faily decent singing voice. This all started because no one wanted the job and God told me to do it, and that he would help me do it. At the first practice there were 4 people, 6 months later we have 16 - 20 on a regular basis. I feel the need to broaden my education to help my choir continue to grow and succeed. I know God is still helping me, but I feel like I need to do more than just sit and wait for inspiration.
